How wet does it get inside the office building where heavy rain makes it hard to clean?

We got home a little after midnight last night, and just fell in to bed. We'll go pick the dog up at the kennel soon. When we get home I'll get a fire going in the wood stove. It's cold in the house.
I live on a dead end road that floods, nicer to stay home on bad weather days!!How wet does it get inside the office building where heavy rain makes it hard to clean?
No extra rain so I am at work. Cleaned the building, now I'm checking on a house for a lady who is out of town!

My new solar powered electric fence charge came in today. I'll go down and hang it on the gate post on the driveway, then I'll get the pick and dig trench under the driveway. This way I can run a hot wire on the fence going north as well as south.
Manual pick? What's the driveway material? Are you going to put it in conduit? In my experience, if not in conduit, driving and/or freeze/thaw may break the wire under the driveway.
Do you have an edger or weed eater with a blade? I've found they do a good job for making slices through a stone driveway. WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR as stone fragments will fly.

Sitting in the shade at camp as we (she/our 2 daughters) decided that we should stay an extra day. I could care less to be honest. Let's just say that I have reached my bs tolerance limit with certain people last night and it came to a point where I just walked away from everyone (aside from 2 who've become friends outside of camp) after a blatant slap in the face to both my wife and I through the actions of others. We'd already decided to sell camp before the episode. There's a long story to it that's not worth getting into here.

Yep, it'll be manual labor. I'll put the wire in 1" conduit. My plan is to pick down about 3 inches, then put 6 inches of 3/4" minus gravel over the top. I always wear safety glasses and ear plugs when I'm working on anything that has a potential of flying fragments, and/or noise.
I have another solar charger up by the house. I'll have to dig two trenches to go under the driveway and the barn yard. All total I'll be digging about 80 feet of trenches in the hard packed gravel driveway.

When I was at the trappers convention this weekend, an old guy had one of these:

Was going to mow as it's going to rain the next few days. The clover heads make it look bad but the grass itself isn't too tall. I think it can wait a few more days.

Finished mowing the orchard, gasses a bunch of gopher holes, helped the wife do some weeding around the fruit trees, got the water on. Going down and put up the new solar fence charger, I'll drive in two or three 8 foot copper rods for the ground. When that's all done I'll go back up on the new fence line and start running the barb wire.
Stopped by Walmart after work for a few things and while in there I hear a yappy little dog going crazy, then I heard my name!
One of my elderly clients passed away a couple of years ago and her daughter took her dog. Well, the daughter is one of those 'bring your dog to Walmart' people. The dog recognized me after two years, so I visited with the dog and daughter for a few minutes. Heading outside to vacuum the pool, then I'll feed the critters, then hop on the float for a while! Not planning on much else today!!

Watched it rain most of the day. Went out for lunch, met an uncle. Found out something odd… He has 3 chicken houses (90K bird capacity total). For the last 20yrs he produced fertilized eggs, contracted to a big poultry company. They supplied layers and feed. He supplied the chicken houses and crews to process the eggs each day (picked up each evening). The poultry company hatched the eggs at another location to supply other chicken farmers with broiler pullets.
My uncle just signed a new 6yr contract with the poultry company. They are paying him by the square foot NOT to produce fertilized eggs in his houses. Guess they are now getting all the eggs they need and don’t want him to produce more.
He’s in his late 70’s, will be about 85 when this contract expires. So effectively… he’s now retired and out of business. But… he has to maintain his buildings (chicken houses) and insure them to receive payment. He can’t just tear the buildings down and use the land for another purpose. The whole thing is just hinky!!!!
Speaking of chickens… bought two large packages of wings. I got those cut up and sealed into food saver bags. 9 bags of 6 drumettes and 2 bags of 5. Handy for when I want to fry a small batch of wings for dinner. Cheap way to eat chicken, I get meat for 11 meals for $23.
No plans this evening but listening to the rain… watch some tv.

You have a donkey???!!!! Is it a pet, or do you work him/her? Does he stay in a barn?
This is Buddy!! He's a pet and a watch donkey, and a good therapy animal. He was a stray about 18 years ago, people left him behind when they moved. He found his way to our place a few miles away. Untouched and never handled, I made a great pet out of him. He has a nice barn and pasture and is very loud!!

Dodging thunderstorms forecast all week to get work done outside in preparation for this weekend's activities. It's the celebration of life for an elderly family member who passed away in April. We're going to have people here from Thursday to Sunday and hosting a family BBQ.
Very cool. So cruel of the people to leave him behind but you came to the rescue. Kudos to you. 18 yrs old and he looks young. A fine looking donkey. What is their normal life span?View attachment 206253
This is Buddy!! He's a pet and a watch donkey, and a good therapy animal. He was a stray about 18 years ago, people left him behind when they moved. He found his way to our place a few miles away. Untouched and never handled, I made a great pet out of him. He has a nice barn and pasture and is very loud!!

He looks happy and he is safe and well care of with you !!! I know soAbout 40 years! He was about 2 when we got him, he's got a while to go.

Every morning Tracker goes out and checks the rodent traps. I use little cage traps for them. This morning he got in to my project vehicle and took the trap out and took it to the back yard. It had 2 chipmunks inside! Every day we catch 3 to 6 mice, an occasional ground squirrel and a chipmunk, today was the first time catching two at once.
I'm going out soon to start the water in the orchard. I'll probably have to gas some gophers too. Yesterday I found some skunk and rabbit sign in the orchard. I'll get some traps out for them later.

You need some of the rattlers I have at my cabin to keep the rodent population down
