Wasn't sure where to put this, so Rusty's Bar and Grill seemed appropriate.

This was on Shorpy, it's a cafe in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
Seems like a very efficient set up to me.
I'd like to dine in a place like this. :smile:

They use that setup around here as well, if we're talking about the U shape where your waitress walks through the middle section.

Yes, that's what I'm talking about.
The whole thing has such a nice, cozy feel to it.
Can't say I've ever been in a place like that.

What's nice at the one I visit is that the coffee pot is at the end of the U. If the waitress is busy, it's considered normal for the person closest to grab it, top off theirs and pass it down. When it reaches the other end, its empty or near it and the waitress does her thing to make another pot.
