A sergeant in the Bronx was killed while he and his partner were responding to a domestic disturbance call. The shooter
had a gun and had been trying to break into his estranged wife's apartment, in violation of a restraining order. He had 19
prior arrests BTW, so possession of the gun was another felony charge. The only good news in this is that the perp didn't
survive the encounter either.
Another example of how well gun control laws work. The Sullivan Law has been in effect in New York since 1911 and
slime balls such as this still have no problems getting guns; the law only impacts the law abiding, leaving them at the mercy
of the lawless. BTW, this law was named after Tim Sullivan, a notoriously corrupt politician. It seems that gun control laws
are greatly favored by corrupt politicos such as Sullivan and Clitler. <sarcasm> Could there be some reason they want the
law abiding public disarmed? </sarcasm>
