The OC12 rear end - where did it come from? It's used in both old smaller Nodwells and old snocats such as the Imps. Where did it come from,

It was used in both old smaller Nodwells such as the RN10, RN20 and maybe others. It was also used old snocats such as the Imps. Where did it come from, Who invented it, who made it, where was it made, etc, etc, etc.

Clark Manufacturing made them. Original design was for Oliver Tractor company bulldozers they made in the 50's through the early 70's.
Clark makes Construction machinery, and drive train components and axles for other manufacturers.

No, Bombardier built their own steering differentials. These were in several sizes depending on the machine they were in..
It is similar in design, and works the same way..

Since they share the same line of engines I would think there is a good chance of that...
But I am not the guy who knows the answer to this.

It is similar in design, and works the same way..
The T-16 rear end was also used in the Bombardier Muskegs though they used one piece brake bands on them along with a different actuator mechanism since the "rear end" was right under the driver's feet.
