As for this veteran thanks for your thanks and thanks for calling me a veteran rather than a VET.
A thanks isn't necessary. I am honored to have been allowed serve. I served my time and “got out” no injuries. It was great experience. Made lot of friends, who will be friends for life. It is just me but I don't like the hearing veterans called Vets especially when they are being thanked. There are veterans who served and suffered horrific inures. When thinks is given, seems to me, it is lazy to say vet.
So, thank you Pontoon Princess. You are a great lady.
