sw48 ring and pinion vs 252 skidozer ring and pinion

Does anyone know if the ring and pinion from a sw48 will interchange with a bombardier skidozer 252 the skidozer has the aluminum housing containing the ring and pinion and planetarys . Does the skidozer have a OC12 that I always seem to read about. I have an opportunity to purchace a old bombardier muskeg I believe, just the running gear it is the double wheel design. The housing the ring and pinion is contained in looks like a sw48 with a bolted on steel top cover. Maybe they are 2 different animals or maybe they are the same it is a lot of work to dissemble it to compare
