Walter Williams was an economist. One of those economists that spoke plain and simple English and could easily explain, even to a simpleton like me, complex economic issues. He was a true defender of the American free market, but railed against cronies-capitalism, an avoid anti-socialist, and a believer in the good of the market to fix the things that governments broke.
