Natural immunity to the Delta variant from India is, indeed, better than the vaccine.

But to have natural immunity, one must have already had Covid and recovered from it. People don't get natural immunity if they never got Covid. From the data that I have seen, the people who had, and recovered from, Covid 19, do not need to be vaccinated.

I'm living proof that natural immunity is better than any thing else. I have been sick so many time over many decades, taken many vaccines and more antibiotics than I care to remember (must have approached 100 courses). About 6 years ago I got terribly ill and all the "usual remedies" didn't help. I changed my diet (eliminated processed foods and grains amongst others), reduced my exposure to toxins in food, packaging, body products, cleaning products, etc. started to exercise, reduced my stressors and worked on my emotions. I haven't been to a doctor ever since. I would be considered high risk from a "Virus" perspective, but in spite of multiple extended contact with sick young people who got very sick, I didn't even develop a sniffle. I can highly recommend that people take back control of all aspects of their lives from so called professionals or experts. Ultimately only you know what is best for you.

As Entropy points out, your best defense is to be healthy.
Unfortunately, one must endure the disease to be "naturally immune"
However, our government does not except true science believing the pharma industry is the answer to having a heathy population. Even at the risk of lost personal freedoms.
A basic tenant of our nation's founding.

The question raised by our recent pandemic experience is, who controls our government? Big pharma or we the people?

That answer is clear
