a few cities have pilot programs for autonomous cabs - there isn't a week that goes by without an accident involving an autonomous vehicle.

NSTB has opened a formal investigation into Telsa's systems - it's the first step needed to issue a mandatory recall.
a lot of people are going to get hurt/killed - the technology is still not ready, it cannot cope with the real world.
