Rehabbing my 1970 SW 48. Took out old wheel bearings and cups replaced with new cups and bearings. There was never any mud excluders, when I looked at the exploded view to put back together, saw the excluders. To the Bombardier family, any opinions ????
Any suppliers ?????

I bought new ones from Brad of Minnesota Outdoors (god rest his soul)…..here’s a couple pics. I think the part/bag is from Prinoth.

I purchased some from Prinoth something like 5 years ago. My personal experience is that I don't know up to which extent they exclude mud. In my case it is more a mud slowing than excluding. I've found that I need to push more new grease (more often) because the ring where the seal touch are getting thin and slack. So when mud get there is more wear. But pushing too much grease will push the seal out which is not better. So I have to open and clean everything each year (officially...)
