What are your thoughts on the ‘54 12v generator? Could it have had a 12v generator in it originally?which tells me the replacement engine in your kitten might be a 61 also? given it is not the original engine
NO, all of the round door kittens were 6 volt from the factory, but, that did not stop someone from changing it to 12 volt, best reason for the change, was it spin the engine faster on those cold daysWhat are your thoughts on the ‘54 12v generator? I’m pretty sure all the parts are available. I know there is a place local to me that specializes in Anglias. I gotta get it over to the machine shop to make the sure the block is salvageable.Excellent, looks like good progress. Can you get the parts you need for the rebuild?
Could you place a quarter by those pistons and post another picture of them so we can see just how small they are.I’m pretty sure all the parts are available.
