Reform and euthanasia

Some people are reformed by prison, some not. Some are released and become completely new individuals, enlightened by their time behind bars. They do something of value for the rest of their lives and never reoffend. Incarceration works well for them.

On the other side of the coin, some are released and don't change for the better. They might even come out worse than when they went in. They might fall back into their old, unsavoury ways and take up weapons to further their goals.

In their case, being killed by officers of the law is the best destiny for them. They are cured in the best possible way. They don't live, but in dying, they save the rest of us.

For better, some will be reformed and live productive lives. For those who aren't, or become a threat to life, death by cop in a struggle, is the way. It is honoured in many parts of the world and must always be. Our societies are balanced properly when those who can benefit from prison change for the better and those who endanger life are killed.
