The covid thing requiring paper ballots (which any commercial printer can spew out by the thousands) is how the 2020 election was stolen...

Were you not watching the news in 2020 when they interviewed person after person who said they went down to vote in person, only to be told that they had already voted?!?

Paper ballots are only for cheating!:(
BTW, it is impossible to have Voter ID with paper ballots. :mad:

Our town was electronic then switched back to paper.
When you show up, you give them your name (I hand them my ID anyway). They look you up in a big book, have you sign next to your name (your signature is also already in their records), they confirm you, check mark the book that you've come in then have you complete a paper ballot.

Yep, pretty much how it's done where I'm at in Ohio. Except when you walk up they ask for your ID. They have a signature on file. You fill in the paper ballot, then the person running the machine that reads and tallies the ballots tears off some sort of verification receipt and drops it into a locked safe box. As the reader scans your ballot it prints the results onto a paper tape visible through a small window so you can double check the accuracy of the scan. I suppose there could be trickery involved, but it would take an awful lot of conspiring.
 
It's so easy where we live. Just show ID, we're handed a ballot, we vote then drop the ballot in a box. Then our vote is recorded in a book. For years we voted by absentee ballot. That's the only mail in ballot that should be accepted.

Absentee ballots aren't just for the military. My wife and I voted by absentee ballot for years when we were working overseas.

In my state we use paper ballots on election day. They are tabulated by a machine. That way if there is a recount there is something to count. But I live in a red state with secure elections and while undoubted there is some fraud. I just don't believe amounts to much.
 
I think DJT should get rid of the useless departments (of which there are many) and use that money towards a federal taskforce to ensure fair and honest elections. IF there are complaints about voting irregularities, that department should be immediately dispatched to that site and have the authority to address the issues. No more covering up the windows with cardboard so people can't see what's going on behind closed doors. No more late ballot dumps via a huge semi truck at the back door. No mail in ballots, except for the few absentee ballots issued in rare but approved circumstances. No more ballot drop boxes. No more early (except absentee) or late voting. Results will be submitted and verified within 24 hours. Voter ID required to vote. The taskforce employees should be present in all large precincts......something like over 10,000 or so, that guarantee lines move quickly and smoothly to accommodate the voters.

All ballots should have a federal identifier and all ballots should be paper. No more electronic voting machines with internet capabilities. Everything should be transparent and if a poll worker is caught doing anything nefarious, there should be severe consequences for them with fines and jail time. There should be a 1-800 number posted at the voting site to report any suspected issues.

There should also be taskforce station workers in voting places where past violations were reported. That should also include random inspectors who just show up at random voting precincts to verify all procedures are being followed, much like a surprise inspection.

Just doing those things would thwart a lot of the fraud. I would also support a federal holiday for Voting Day!:flagusa:
