Socialism as I understand it requires removal of private property from individuals, and making said property the Governments.
Unless I am wrong about that, there will be a civil war. People who have for generations built wealth are not going to just give it up so easily.
We are not and have never been a socialist society. I do not believe we will become one any time soon.
If socialism is really your goal, we are in fact mortal enemy's. I will treat you as such.

My bet is your just one of the lemmings taught to hate Donald Trump. So many of those, to narrow minded and trusting of a lying media complex owned by a handful of America hating socialists. You did not really vote for Biden, you just cast a vote against Trump? Probably watch the apprentice as well. So many people who watched it hated Trump. I never watch that show. I do not hate Trump either. As a farmer, we like him a lot.
Trump beat the Chinese into submission and made them honor trade deals in China they have signed and never fallowed.
Biden took $10M through his druggy son and will bow to the CCP at the most critical time. He is a sell out again through his sons to lots of other nations. Just like Hillary he is a pay for play kind of guy.

It's true; I didn't vote for Trump. But then, I didn't vote for Biden either. I voted for Boris Johnson (I'm British).
I actually admired Trump, and was delighted when he won the 2016 election. I've watched the US Media ever since, becoming increasingly amazed by their partisanship.

Thank you @300 H and H . It was a damned close-run thing. But it seems to be working really well ! (to the despair of the Remoaners who predicted that the UK would sink beneath the waves without Europe to hold us back up. )

Eire might be next - it has been stabbed in the back by the EU over Brexit, and its honeymoon period is over. The EU are already acting against its low commercial taxes, saying they represent unfair government interference in business, and I fear Eire is going to be badly hit economically if the EU forces it to hike its tax rates.
