In a head scratching moment,
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Wednesday, just hours after his conference deposed Rep. Liz Cheney for criticizing fellow Republicans over that very issue, stated:
I don’t think anybody is questioning the legitimacy of the presidential election,” . I sincerely do not know if he was misquoted, or if, for whatever reason he's trying to backpedal over the issue. This comment, I believe, may have both Republicans and Democrats scratching their heads.
