That was fascinating. In my early days in the oilfield, a lifetime ago, I worked on both the Brent "Bravo" and "Charlie" so it was kind of sad to see them being decommissioned and dismantled. My oilfield is long gone.
When I worked in the Gulf I supervised changing out the living quarters on the "High Island" platform. It wasn't anything close to what happened in the video but watching that heavy lift barge pick up the old living quarters and place it on it's deck and pick up the new quarters on drop it right in place was incredible.

Oh, I forgot to mention that my son was Offshore Installation Manager on the Brent "Delta". He worked for Shell for over 20 years.
