Legacy auto's billion dollar battery factories are DOOMED

As US car makers ramp up battery production, they are doing so with a battery type that although it is more energy dense, the cost is 2X and battery life is 1/3 of lithium iron phosphate batteries now going into Tesla cars and others made in China. All new battery production in China is iron phosphate based.
Nickle and Cobalt are scarce and expensive. Yet the legacy auto makers are going the wrong way..... yet again.
