Last Run

Well we took our last run of the season this last weekend with the Princess and friends. Camped two nights at about 7000' in as perfect of weather as you could ask for. Not a breath of wind and t-shirt weather. Fantastic time with everyone and if you've been to an event with the Princess, you know it was top notch. The mobile kitchen was in full swing putting out the best burgers, risotto, pancakes and bacon (lots of bacon) for miles around keeping the growing groms well fed.
I look forward to this all year and the only way it's going to happen is via Sno Cat (and trailer!).
Thank you to the Princess for all the effort and hospitality and once again making this an over the top Sno Cat camp experience. Everyone had sooo much fun!

you forgot the peach cobbler...

First, many, many, many, thanks to the snow surfer dude to include I and my daughter, we so enjoyed the adventure, everyone that came were great to snow camp with, so many wonderful memories and very fortunate to get invited.

Secondly, Broken Top Mountain is such a beautiful area, we camped right up at the wildness area boundary line. The weather was beyond prefect, the stars were so bight and clear. We could see for over 150 miles to the south, simply. amazing.

Thirdly, the snow surfer has a pair of Daviscott skis on his super 500 trailer, and he loaded with everything including the kitchen sink, probably about 1500 pounds, could NOT think of a better test driver to torture the skis, snow surfer is doing a bang up job of trying to destroy them, good news, is he is failing BIG time, so, I believe, the Daviscott skis will last for many many many years of hard use, nice try snow surfer.

finally, thank Sean and family, so lucky to get to tag along.

Very, very kewl to be able to do that! Looks like an awesome location! We got to enjoy the coldest three day May run in recorded NH history after being 94 on Wednesday. Rain and average HIGH temp of 51. Sun finally came back out an hour before sunset last night. :sneaky::poop:
