I am a believer in EV's including Big Trucks.

My thought is that one can compare this to the transition from plug in tools to todays domination of cordless tools. Just a much bigger battery lol.. Remember we are trying to predict and see the future here, not just today. This company has hybrid units in real world use today with real owners who are seeing 30% reduction in fuel costs. The units use regenerative braking to charge the batteries going down hill.. or coming to a stop. They also have an engine powered generator set to charge the batteries. 1,400 mile range average.

Here is a new idea with a new company that not only will deliver a totally EV heavy truck, but also a hybrid unit that can be installed in existing Trucks. This is a game changer, giving lower maintenance costs as well as a 30% reduction in fuel costs. Trading about $28 now, ticker is SHLL .

Interesting I think.. I also love that they are just a powertrain provider. DANA Corp not only has partnered with them to give Hyliion the ability to be installed OEM in most big manufactures of Heavy trucks, and they purchased a substantial stake in Hyliion.. Most of all I like it spends no money on autonomous driving capability.
