How do you guys deal with toxic players in online games?

We've all been there - you're trying to have a good time online and suddenly some jerk starts ruining everyone's fun. I'm curious how you all handle toxic players. Do you mute them, try to outplay them, or have some secret trick up your sleeve? Share your tips for keeping your cool when the salt starts flowing!

I don't play online games but when someone on social media wants to be obnoxious, I delete and block them.
In my opinion, they are not worth interacting with.

Same. My wife's first marriage dissolved as her ex was addicted to online gaming and never had more ambition in life than the minimum wage Walmart job he got right out of high school. 20+ years later he's still stocking shelves and playing video games. Sure, he's got a fancy computer he built that can almost power up the space shuttle but can't afford to put food on the table to feed his kids so hasn't seen them in about 4 years because he prioritizes playing video games over responsibilities. So my view on video gaming is a little biased.
