How do I determine what rear end my Spryte has?

Is this an OC12? I have looked around the internet but haven’t gotten any good info. Thanks ?

Looks like it to me, aluminum housing with assembly tolerances stamped on it.

If the cover is on top it's a 12. If the cover is on the back its an OC-4.

That seems even clearer, though at odds with previous. Does the stamped number in photo not relate to either OC4 or OC12? I had thought C1209182 might indicate OC12. Thanks
