Everyone is questioning the help given to those at the border. People say we need to help those Americans that are in need.
The homeless are everywhere. If the government won't help them, then it is up to every solvent American citizen to help those in need. Yes some are drug addicts, some are young families, some are vets. It doesn't matter, because they are all Americans.
Leave groceries on the trails leading to where these people are staying. We all know where they are, we spend a lot of time not looking at them. Find a group that is actively helping get folks back on their feet. Offer time, money, goods to get these people back on their own. Many churches send help to other countries and many are in worse shape than here. But we have a real problem right here. Children are starving, people aren't getting care, folks are getting hurt.
