World Cup Soccer! I'm not into it, wondering if anyone is!!
Yup, ME. I watched Scotland play Haiti last night. I grew up playing the game. I played organized soccer from the time I was 9-years old until I was almost 30 and then work and life got in the way. It's usually disparaged in the USA as being slow and boring and I can understand that, but it a great game, especially for kids as you don't need to be a physical freak in order to play it.
I don't watch as often as I once did as the game has changed so much since the days that I played, and not all for the better.
Not interested. 
I've known people before that would sit on their ass for hours watching some stupid sporting event on TV. That's just not for me.
I used to work for a British company years ago overseas, most of my co-workers were Brits. Occasionally I'd go to the bar with them to watch a soccer game, I think they called it football. It was fun watching them act like idiots over a silly game.

Since all of Europe only has soccer to watch and no CFB or NFL, Fox has really been pushing the soccer stuff hard over here, hoping Americans will finally give a
about it, so Europe won't feel left out.... Not gonna happen.
Watching 2-hours of nothing happen, and seeing people going bonkers over an astounding 3-2 victory, is silly.

My godson got a college scholarship to play soccer. His high school team won state championships his junior(?) year. He was varsity for 3 years. His parents declared bankruptcy to fund his travel soccer league. So much of high school sports is simply broken.
In the end he went to a different college, so didn't take the scholarship.
Me, I am just not a fan of soccer. Nor American football. Nor many other sports.
So I'm certainly not invested in FIFA like much of reasoned world

A friend of mine had 2 kids in travel leagues. I'm guessing he spent over $100,000 for them to play soccer. Both quit about 1/2 way through high school. I'm guessing the boys were just worn out from all of it.
