End of an era

There are 2 sportscasters I really enjoyed listening to. Phil Rzzuto and Jack Brickhouse. Both are now passed. I know a lot of people enjoyed Harry Carray but I never much like his broadcasts.

One new guy who I think is great is Steve Farmer. He's an ex-pitcher and is a broadcaster with a great sense of humor, excellent stories and a dry sarcasm.

I wasn't much of a Royals fan growing up in KC in the 90's, but I loved the Chicago Cubs. Thanks to WGN I got to see most any Cubs game played. I always enjoyed Harry Carray's broadcasts. He was particularly entertaining when he didn't realize WGN was back from commerical break :yum: . My dad took me to see a Cubs game on my 7th and 9th birthdays and I walked under the broadcasting booth to see Harry.
