Decoy Trailer/Cargo Trailer Security

I am working on restoring a 12' X 7' cargo trailer that was neglected when the owner died. I will be storing and hauling new goose decoys and hunting supplies in it during the winter. With the stash of expensive hunting items I am thinking about security. I have a tongue lock but wanted to extend the security to the wheels. Here is what I came up with using things I had on hand. The lock is suspect for a set of bolt cutters, even thought the hasp is hardened. What do you think? Are there hooded locks that are protected from bolt cutters?

You might want a longer length of chain and a bigger/better lock. The longer chain could be threaded through the hole easier and let it dangle. Then skip the metal retainer and just stick the biggest lock that will fit through the chain.

That lock is the weakest link. I can pick that lock in about a minute (I'm not very good). I don't think those locks are very good.

Otherwise the idea is cool. You might want to look at some of those heavy duty motorcycle chain locks.

Actually, I had a similar lock lying by my desk. It took me less than 30 seconds to pick it twice with a simple lock rake.
