Cancer Survivors?

I am lucky. At 78 no cancers that I know of. Perhaps because my godfather was an Organic nut and a chiropractor. So I learned, and believed, a heathy lifestyle. Unfortunately I have lost my mother and mother-in-law to cancers. And my wife is a cancer survivor. But that is her story to tell.

My doctor has complained that in 35 years, other than giving me an annual Physical, he has not made a dime off me. Apparently my aversion to illnesses or injuries, that might have warranted medical attention, never got any. I am that guy who just shakes it off and one day may well just fall over dead for it. But cancer has yet to lay a hand on me.

@FrancSevin that's awesome! My dad was like that until this past week when he was diagnosed with skin cancer. May you continue to be cancer free all your days!

@Doc which kind of thyroid cancer did you have and what treatments did you go through? I had Papillary Thyroid Cancer and it was contained to one nodule, so I had two surgeries (the first one because they weren't confident it was cancer and the second one to remove the other side) and that's all the treatment I needed.

@NorthernRedneck that's so sad! Lung cancer is pretty quick, isn't it?

No idea what kind it was. I didn't have any treatments. I had had a pain in my neck for over a year. They could not figure out what or why. Then I had an MRI of my back, that is when they saw something on the thyroid. Biopsied and found cancer. They took the whole thing out a few weeks later. Sure did impact my energy. I was attributing it to getting older. Now I realized it was part getting older and part due to no thyroid. Levothyroxine give me t4 but my system does not convert enough of it to t3. This year I started B12 injections and they seem to help.

I'm wondering if I'll need to start B12 injections. How often do you have to get them?

Yes it is often already stage 3 when caught. I was fortunate. My ovary was the size of a cantaloupe yet still stage one. Doctor did a complete hysterectomy but failed to do any biopsies. He also damaged a kidney tube. Two weeks later I had stent put in the tube. Needed a second major surgery to do all the biopsies but was worth it to not have to do chemo. Oncologist was an awesome surgeon. Six weeks after the hysterectomy, he reopened me. Did the biopsies, cleaned up the scar tissue around the kidney tube and neatly repacked my guts. Two weeks after that I was back in to get the stent removed. Eight weeks and four surgeries later, I was clear of cancer. Of course there was always the worry it might come back. But after 25 years I’m feeling pretty good. Funny, X-rays show I’m full of staples. LOL

I've never had it.
Y'all do some research on Ivermectin. It allegedly can cure or slow down cancer.
I wonder if there is a hidden cure for it.

It was. My grandfather started getting sick in November. Officially diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in January if I recall. He passed in June. I can still hear the gargling as he took his last few breaths as his lungs filled with fluid.

A week after his funeral my grandmother was diagnosed. She held on for 2 years with an oxygen tank.

There are many different kinds of cancers, which means there isn't going to be one cure for it. When I had thyroid cancer, my surgeon said they needed to know which kind it was (there are like 3 or 4?) because treatment is different. And if it spread to another part of the body, it would still be considered thyroid cancer and treated in the same way.

I agree and that's why I suggested doing research.

over 10 yrs ago i had breast cancer, stage 2. was told it started to spread and oncologist wanted me to do 16 weeks of radiation and surgery.

after doing deep research on the cancer indu$try and what chemo and radiation actually do to the body i declined and went to alternative treatments but agreed to surgery in case i was an idiot.

used a cannabis oil recipe called RSO - Rick Simpson Oil, also added essiac tea - terrific stats curing even stage 4, and apricot kernals to stop the spread. had just 4 weeks before surgery date so i crammed in a 3 month treatment frame into that 4 weeks. it made me sleep alot then i learned this--

** if you add a CBD cannabis with the same % content as the thc cannabis there is No High . never liked pot and didnt want the high--learned that whatever thc % content being used get the same % content in CBD. it cancels the high. if using a 15% thc then add in a CBD with 15% or more. worked great.

woke up after surgery and was told they found nothing--it was gone. they only removed a bit of tissue the size of thumbnail where it was for just in case. but no cancer. im in my 70s and still cancer free.

also used cannabis oil-salves to remove skin cancers sucessfully. another thing is Cansema Black SAlve for sjun cancer thats great.

my sister beat a tumor in her gut with ivermectin and fen ben. ivermectin works on skin cancers too ive heard..

love herbal and alternative remedies--would love to share some recipes, theres so many neat tings we can do to help ourselves get and stay healthy. --is there a thread or which is the propper forum for that?

So far I have dodged that bullet (fingers crossed), but my wife is a survivor. Relatively minor corrected with a lumpectomy, and radiation. It is in her family history. Her mother was a survivor and two sisters also had it.

one more thing then ill shut up--a very impoprtant thing i learned from a cancer researcher is if you have cancer--any type stop all sugars and carbs.
cancer cells need sugars to grow and spread. stop sugars, honey, carbs--all of it and cancer cells start to starve. cant grow and spread.

so i did that for the 4 weeks i had before sugery. i changed to stevia powder and drops-- some brands may have a slightly differetn taste, i buy the powder and make my own drops, its the only thing i use even now. for those struggling with cancers maybe try cutting out all sugars/carbs

prayers for all. its a real battle but we can beat it
