Boyne Mountain has (had?) a Tucker ..... HALF a Tucker..... in their water park. I'm told that they have a boneyard of Tuckers on site..... but they refuse to give me a tour. It's been well over a decade since I've been to the water park, so I'm not entirely certain that it's still there.

They CUT THE THING IN HALF!!! ..... and repainted it to put it in the water park as decoration.

I was so pissed when I saw that. :mad:

I was just digging through a flash-drive and serendipitously stumbled upon the Tucker pics.
 
that is really funny.

fun fact:
I was picking up a kitten years ago for a FF member and I remember a residential yard in that area that had a few tuckers sitting about. I have always intended on going creeping in the area to try to find where I was. I have seen photos of boynes crap pile. I just cant remember if it was on here of face book

I can understand why that would hurt to see, especially knowing how rare Tuckers are now. Cutting one in half just to use it as a water park decoration feels almost criminal when there are so few left. The idea of a whole Tucker boneyard sitting somewhere on the property is pretty fascinating too. Hopefully some of those cars are still around and haven't been scrapped. Funny how digging through an old flash drive can suddenly turn up something you haven't thought about in years.

Yeah, seeing a Tucker cut in half like that is pretty hard to swallow, especially considering how few of them survived. Using one as a water park decoration seems like such a waste in hindsight. The possible boneyard on the property is even more interesting though. If there really are more Tuckers still sitting out there, it would be amazing to know what condition they’re in and whether anyone has ever tried to track them down. And finding those old photos on a forgotten flash drive makes it even cooler.
