Former NBA superstar Kobe Bryant killed......

...in a helicopter crash. He leaves behind a wife and 4 daughters.

Not a fan of the NBA or any sport for that matter other than hockey and a some baseball, but I understand he was one of the good guys and a great family man. RIP.

Breaking news:

Basketball legend Kobe Bryant is among five people who died in a helicopter crash in the wealthy Southern California residential neighborhood of Calabasas, ESPN has confirmed.

There were no survivors in the crash around 10 a.m. local time Sunday, fire officials said in a press conference. The Sikorsky S-76 helicopter crashed under unknown circumstances, a spokesperson from the National Transportation Safety Board told ABC News.

Of the other passengers, it is now being reported that Kobe Bryant's 13 year old daughter was also on the flight and is among the dead.

Thank goodness we have new sources like MSNBC

MSNBC’s Sunday anchor Alison Morris made easily the worst reporting gaffe in 2020.

While interviewing sports journalists about the tragic and untimely death of Kobe Bryant, Morris somehow mixed up the “Los Angeles Lakers” with the “Los Angeles N*ggers.”

It’s almost too hard to believe, but it happened.

MSNBC appears to have a 15 second delay, as the word didn’t air in some markets.

Alison Morris has not addressed the slip-up since it occurred. Her Twitter feed has also not made reference to the embarrassing accident.

Some online have suggested she simply said “Nakers” instead of “Lakers,” but our editors hear a hard “g,” not a “k” sound.

Would be nice in the fake phony communist media cared about our brave servicemen as much as some basketball player. But they do not.

"Thirty Marines and one Sailor from the 1st Marine Division and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing of the I Marine Expeditionary Force died Jan. 26 when their CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter crashed near Ar Rutbah in the Al Anbar Province while conducting security and stabilization operations."
