After 4 years of the Biden disaster America is moving to the conservative right in all demographics. This is in opposition to the decades of indoctrination in the schools and universities that advocated socialism and big government. At the same time the democrats are moving to the left. This is historic moment not just for America but fir the world. Socialism is failing everywhere. Russia is unable to defeat a small third rate nation. China is collapsing as their economy is in a defilation spiral. 9 major military officers have been removed indicating serious instability. Iran has been set back and we may see an overthrow of that government. America is now lead by a reasl leader instead of an impaired excuse for a leader and the world is following are example.

I've long held we are in a cold civil war, and I am increasingly skeptical it won't get hot. I also disagree with @Klein1014's assessment. Some American demographics - most notably younger men - are moving to the right. They're the ones Charlie Kirk was able to mobilize. Gen X & Z women, by and large, are on the other side of the divide. If Trump 2.0 can't/won't hold the worst actors accountable (see: perp walks, prison time & mass deportations), we're going to lose the dudes. Not to the left, but to the political process. They want results. If results are not forthcoming, they're going to extend their collective middle finger and not go to the polls, which will spell the end of the current Trump coalition, and catalyze the ascendancy of the Mamdani/AOC left.

The country’s pulled in a lot of different directions, and folks are frustrated on all sides. To me, the bigger picture is that everything just feels out of balance. People are tired, people are worried, and it doesn’t take much these days for things to swing one way or the other.

As for who’s moving left or right, or which group is going to show up or stay home, I think that stuff changes faster than anyone can predict. Politics in this country has always been a little wild — calm one minute, upside‑down the next — and a lot can shift in the last stretch before an election. That’s why I don’t put too much weight on long‑range predictions.

What does concern me is people checking out altogether. When folks feel like nothing works, they stop paying attention, and that hurts everyone no matter where they stand. Keeping people involved — even when they’re frustrated — matters more than trying to guess which group will swing which way.

So yeah, things are unsettled, and the future feels wide open. But I don’t think we’re locked into any one outcome. A lot can change, and it usually does.
