Nice to see that one of the special class people from Hollywood has finally complied with a court order. Its has been over a month since actor and anti-gun activist shot 2 people on the movie set of RUST, a movie he is listed as producing and as the lead actor. Baldwin admitted to killing one person and shooting a second. Accidentally. And blaming others for his actions.

Oddly, the actor who seems to identify as a political expert on gun safety, did not apparently comply with the warrant to surrender his phone to the New Mexico sheriff who is investigating the killing/shootings but rather gave his gun to a department in a different state!

Alec Baldwin turns phone over to authorities in fatal Rust shooting investigation

. . . almost a month after authorities investigating the fatal shooting on the set of Rust secured a warrant for the device.
The phone is in the possession of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, which will "conduct the extraction of the data" before handing it off to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office. . .
“There will be some exempt information that’s not considered pertinent to the investigation, such as attorney-client privilege material, communications between Mr. Baldwin and his attorney as well as spousal privileged information,” Juan Rios, the public information officer for the Santa Fe County sheriff, added. . . .
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office said Baldwin did not give his phone to the authorities when the warrant was sent out Dec. 16, leading the office to reach out to the Santa Fe District Attorney’s Office. On Dec. 20, the sheriff's office was advised that the district attorney's office was in negotiations with Baldwin’s attorney "to obtain consent to retrieve the phone and its contents."
Baldwin, 63, said in an Instagram video posted Jan. 8 that the claims that he is not complying with authorities were “bulls***” and “a lie.” He insisted the process "takes time" and involves cooperation with authorities where he lives.
The film's armorer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, filed a lawsuit Wednesday against Rust's ammunition supplier. The suit claims Seth Kenney and his company, PDQ Arm & Prop, mixed live and dummy rounds on set and seeks compensatory damages, punitive damages, attorney's fees, and more. . .
