A Great Hike

A few days ago I took a moderate hike at a local state forest. From the parking area (1700') to the summit (3000') was about a 1300 foot climb. Kind of rocky, not too steep. Nice glacial formed rock formations near the summit shown in second picture. Yes, it was unbelievable. Very quiet and peaceful as well. Not a sound except for nature. A great afternoon all in all.
