Buying filters, parts, hoses. NAPA is the way to go.
Took my door for windows retrieve. 160$ per door to change gasket with liners

. I was like Ema ma ee - WTF. And u forgot to clean my windows?? The guy not waiting too long, get new windows then they will be clean

Then drained radiator. Drained oil. Interesting that oil plug is actually small plumbing vent that drains oil via tube into skid plate. Same applies to radiator. Do u have same set up?
Took all plastic and sanded nose so far. Cracks are minimal. Will Xray for fractures. ))) taking analogies of diagnostics like for my bmw i3 carbon frame .
Hopefully painting this weekend.

Hinges . Someone asked me. I found exact match but they a bit thinner metal. I'm planning to replace with a bit longer and stainless steel hinges and bolts/nuts

reating wood with deck paint. Installed new 5k jack. Licence plate light and holder. And some refresh 2k F paint on engine and air filter box. Looking almost new

Also decided to change all cooling hoses.

Done with wood installation. Time for Thompsons wood preservation magic solution. Thanks to Bill Pearson.

Will need more bolts for middle section. Will worry tomorrow

Got another brand of water proofing and added 2 rows bolts in the middle to make the surface even
I think I'm biased to buy sequoia red after I spend 3 months in sequoia national park

Decided to clean out all phosphoric acid I applied gazillion times in the tub and prime inside with rust reforming primer . It was messy

and windy . Steak was my treat

Got rid of angry spark plugs

. Do u practice to put a tiny drop of an anti seize on them too?
Plus some dielectric grease for connectors.

Now major question! Should I use bedliner or epoxy paint for inside the cockpit and cab painting??
From reading bedliner is toxic even after drying. What is your experience??
Also for outside paint?

Day 13
Got into transmission box

. Changed oil . Got frustrated with HF spray gun

. DAY 14
The deeper I dig the more I want to improve or change or paint.
- pulled apart air vents and cleaned and greased electric motors. Washed ducts
- bought new radiator plumbing hoses for heater cores.
- grinded rust off floor covers and painted with rust reformer
- having some frustration with painting cab

. Will post later . Need pro painter eye advice.
Today was rain. So painting of the tub is deferred to tomorrow if all dry by tomorrow night. I used towels and wiped everything. But ..... Will see.
Im in love with palm sander. I'm so glad I bought it for this project

. So much faster to take rust off and paint
And I doubted myself today and made poor decisions . Fear of risk and prior night poor sleep made me feel bad . Basically I chicken out to buy another snowcat

. Just convinced myself I'm busy with everything.

Day 15. Cockpit painting)).
I can't wait to assemble it and do radiator flush
I'm so glad that I used epoxy paint semi gloss !!! Love it.

- plumbing
- gave an bath to some parts , smell like orange now.
- install radiator
- diff filled with "juice" and sealed
- fuel tank reassembled

Yes agree, I was just looking for another project and the price was right but I pulled off the last second . Now regret a bit.

. Alternator was shortening . Unplugged one wire and it cranked and started

Radiator wash day. Just before my family is back

. This is last messy job.
Talking about neighbors, 2 guys came and helped me to install front nose and hold it when I had to go back and finish two bolts on diff cover.

Finished engine cover install and front winch DC cable . All hardware stainless. No more rusty look on nuts.

2 in hitch receiver installed on the back. Front will be welded.
Will finish engine cover hinges tomorrow. All stainless steel. Don't need more rust
