    Thiokol Mini Snowcat

Kinda related, here's some technical papers written by Ross in the late 60s. I have no idea if the one from 1969 is the same Ross though, the content sure does read like his stuff. Maybe it was a typo on his middle initial. Did he work for Esson after Thiokol or was it some type of moonlight...

    Dissection of Soviet Technology

I assume after a long period of storage, the clutches on my GAZ-71 main gear were quite sticky so I dove in to free them. It was good to get aquainted with the assembly and to see how things work as well. As you would expect with most machines out of the Easter Bloc, it is simple and crude...

    WTS Homemade Snowplane-$300

One seater snowplane/aerosan I built a number of years back. The river hardly freezes anymore so I never really use it. Comes with three sprung UHMW skis, 13hp engine w/ reduction unit and homebuilt 6ft prop. Pushes along pretty good with this combo, just be aware there is no prop guard so I...

    M2 Bradley Final Drives

Surplus M2 Bradley final drives, probably a bit heavy for most snow cat uses... https://www.govplanet.com/for-sale/Parts-%284%29-12359348-2-Vehicular-Final-Drives-Texas/2915604?h=5000%2Cc%7C2246%2Cq%7CFinal+drive&rr=0.09091&hitprm=&pnLink=yes

    Low Pressure Tires

Visited a guy in Minnesota a couple of weeks ago that had imported some Chinese Sherp tires last year. These are used on the Sherp clones, Thor and Fat Truck. Aired down I was told they perform well in snow as far as wheels go. Interesting tires for sure.

    WTS Homemade Half-Track Thing

Not really a snowcat but close to it... Something I built awhile back before my full track build, don't have a purpose for it anymore. Asking $200 or trade for an old garden tractor (working or not). Located NE Iowa. https://youtu.be/oT1fHajbYdk Engine and drive system works good...

A 4-cylinder Toyota 20R. I don't know what the horsepower is, it might be close to stock with the weber converson? Check out the youtube channel, I have a build log that started in October. If you can't find any info on a certain part, let me know I might have some pictures of it. Actual...

    Homemade Tracklayer

Hello. I am building a machine based on the homemade tracked vehicles from Russia. Nuth'in fancy. It is a pretty fun build and the largest (most powerful) machine I have ever built. I think with some bolt-on track extensions and grousers it could do better in the snow, since this machine...
