Didn't Know Brad very well but did have a few snowcat conversations with him, one resulted him warning me about inherent problems with the brand of snowcat I was looking at. I did some research on it , Brad was right and I dodged a bullet. R.I.P.

According to their website, Minnesota Outdoors is working on going forward. I hope we can all support them and continue Brad’s legacy.

Well indeed it must be true. To echo the sentiment posted above, yes this is a bummer.
Most every relationship I have created in this silly over the snow hobby has a connection to Boggie.
I have bought and sold and bartered and Bid with and against brad. ( he is more generous than words can describe ) yet my most cherished exchange were shared ideas. With Brad on what was never a short phone call, I would share and idea and he would enhance it with knowledge to make it even a better idea. I valued his Bull Shit detector and used life lines to call and discuss many a pile of manure.
Bryan thanks for thinking of the forum and posting this content. Indeed there was a lot of fun here i hope we all do our part to keep these thread weaving.

Brads wife has asked me to help her with going through parts and machines, she would like to down size. Her hopes are that someone would take over the parts business that would love it s much as Brad did. Parts machines and running machines also available.

Wow….unbelievably sad news. Over Christmas I sent one of the “Bombardier Bombi Badges” to thank him for everything he does (advice, locating “unobtanium” parts for our machines, being a great guy)….and never got the chance to do it person. May you Rest In Peace Brad.

Sorry to let you all know, that two weeks ago Brad from mn outdoors has passed away.
Hi Bryan,

Sorry to hear of your loss, i did not know Brad but from the kind words here I know he's the man I would've needed to help me put. I have been calling around for a while and searching online and it seems Brad may have been the only fellow that has the CAD line work to create a new drive sprocket for my machine. Any help with a contact or business that may have taken over his work I could get in touch with would be greatly appreciated.

If not for Brad I would still be fighting clutch issues in my 1402. He set me up with a company that made a kevlar disk for my cat. Problem solved.
Rest in Peace my friend. You were a valuable member of this site.

Just a note on "Kevlar" Clutches

Kevlar clutches are the best clutch ever made.
My big rig used to go through ceramic clutches about every two years.....These suckers eat flywheels and pressure plates...

Then I learned about the Kevlar.......Smooth and they don't eat things up......Once they "Break in" and firm up they just last and last and last....
Took about two days on the heavy hauler with the 500 hp CAT and life was great......Adjusted it once after the break in and that was it...
