yes, you do know the answer! Mine moved about every time I rebuilt it, so I would definitely recommend a trial run with all the main panels on before you finally fix everything in place - biggest problem I had was keeping the rear square and even after several test builds it was still out when I came to fit the back door.

Now I understand why you did as much fitting with the machine together. It will be difficult getting all the pieces to line up now that I have fewer reference points. I guess if I had wanted a beautiful machine to hop into I would have just bought one. I have grinding and cutting wheels by the box full.

Another little job sorted, tried to get my son to make some de-mist nozzles on his 3d printer but without success so had to fab some out of ally sheet - worked ok in the end

More jobs completed on the interior - painted the dash crackle black and wired in new instruments, also made a new grab handles from stainless steel as old ones were badly corroded. I found the original seat was falling apart and was not the correct one anyway, so replaced it with a fork lift operators seat sourced from E-bay - I'll keep an eye out for correct snow-trac seat but this will do for now. As this one had proper adjustable runners I decided to mount it on a box construction which would also double up as tool box - the seat hinges forward for access.

Whow, what an extreme condition you made for your ST. Please send me your number on that machine, Well done.
Hi Kenth, this is the one I have been in touch with you about that I cant find the number for - this forum name thing means you probably don't recognize me as Ian Edwards.

The recent acquisition does look like it needs some serious TLC....
As has been pointed out here by the old hands at Snow cattin.....Snow cats are a disease that has no cure....only another cat to sooth the insatiable appetite of the disease.....

Carry on.....ENJOY
