Even with all the mostly bad stuff going on all around us I have recently decided to just keep pushing forward…one winter at a time.

AMEN BRO.....That's all we can do....Just go make Cat tracks in the snow.....

Dwelling on all the BS that ya hear on the news every night....gonna make ya feel bad and result in a very pissy attitude....

Not worth wasting our time on trying to thrash through it.......

Stay focused on doing worth while endeavors .....

Totally agree.

We need to look for the good things.

The world may be going crazy around us but it doesn't mean we need to join in and go crazy with it.

I've tried to make my self a bit more self-sustainable, while still existing peacefully with the world. Living in a rural area helps. Plug along with a focus on being a positive influence on younger people, enjoying life, petting a dog and occasionally puffing on a cigar in solitude.

Living in a rural area is a blessing......Seems that the "Hive Dwellers" can always find a reason to get out of hand.....
And of course no matter what is happening.....The crowd is always quick to claim ...."If someone else's fault"

I can do nicely without all the blame game and the making up of new words to call things and the demonizing of what most of us old farts were taught as GOSPEL....Too many younger folks that have not been taught RESPECT, AND TO HAVE AMBITION TO GET OFF ONES AZZ AND DO ANYTHING.......Respect being the big one ... Rant off.

Just a day of solitude with tools laying about and working on the snow cat.....Or pretty much any project...Yeah buddy

The consumer is not confident right now.

The urban based folks rely on and live in * infrastructure * they can't prepare, let me rephrase that, I feel, they won't prepare. So here comes the divide of folks that are accountable for their self and action and folks who perceive they are part of a dependent team. hobbies are a luxury.
entitled folks don't see the difference between hobbies and habits. folks that can and do make shit happen have both.

my motto: Press on regardless......
