How new or old are your vehicles?

As we rolled into 2021, I added another years age to each of our vehicles. Damn, they're getting old. The good part is they all still run beautifully so there's no plans to trade them in for something newer.
The average age for our 6 vehicles is over 13 years old.

How old are yours? Do you trade yours in with some frequency to keep newer cars?

The f150 is a 2017. The expedition is an 18. Up here anything over 5 years old is starting to rust out from all the damn salt they use on the roads in the winter.

BMW gets about 2000 miles/year.
Mrs. Zoom has driven her Lexus under 50 miles TOTAL in 4 years. I put another 400 on it doing a road trip.

Wow. You should get a break on your insurance for the few miles you drive.

I have a
2014 4 Runner, 102k miles. Used for towing utility trailer and road trips primarily.
2013 Avalon. 107k miles. Daily driver
2005 Silverado Crew Cab. 83k miles. Bought in 2009 it had 44k on it. Mainly used to tow boat or tow heavier stuff in utility trailer.

Between all vehicles we drive around 20k per year.

This thread reminds me, I try to remember to get annual mileage / hours for all vehicles, boat, mower, side by sides in January of every year. I had forgotten until now. Thanks for the nudge BC.

Lol. Actually most dodges up here past 5 years old have rusted rockers and rear fenders. I've had all brands. They all have issues.

Like bczoom, we have them but don't drive them much anymore.

1999 Ford 350 with 84K miles on it.
2012 Buick Enclave (wife's) with 85K on it. It's her everyday driver and our road trip car ... when we used to do such things.
2015 Caddy SRX with 24K miles (mine). I put less than 2K miles on it last year.
2017 Dynamax DX3 motorhome with 9K miles on it. It got less than 50 miles on it last year.

We, especially me, don't drive much anymore. We had a bunch of trips planned for last year, both by car and motorhome, but all that fell through.

I'm due for another pickup soon, they normally last 4-5 years before they are worn out. Typically I put on 200k miles in 4-5 years.

As you can see, I have a similar affliction as BCZOOM. Fleet average age 19 years. Whether I buy them new or used, I drive 'em until the wheels fall off and I cannot get them to stay back on.

For instance, the 1999 Dodge minivan has been in the shop over a year waiting for rocker panels. And, oh, the welding of a new under frame so we can mount them.

looks like Franc won the most vehicles award. And they are all the same brand.
