No, but I do have a question about GMRS radios, can you answer it?

I have a set of handheld FRS/GMRS radios. I would like to get a vehicle mount radio that operates on the same GMRS frequencies as the little handheld units. And I would like it to be an economical unit. It would be used for talking to the house when out in the Snow Trac. Any thoughts or advice? I do realize I need a license to operate on the GMRS frequencies.

I r a ham as seen in sig, also GMRS license WPXI305. I believe that any mobile radio designed for the UHF Land Mobile Radio Service will do the job for the Snot-Trac and the house. I'll throw in some manufacturer links below. I'm sure you can find a low-end unit or a discontinued one for $150 or less. If you get a base station or repeater for the house, it would be over kill as it would have features the older handhelds can't use and would have the same power limit (50W) as the mobile.

kb9tls, ham radio, but dont use them anymore. I have 2 of the older RS units, big handheld, with all the stuff...............
