Thanks Don!
I am ashamed to say that the race has escaped me this year.
Having looked at the standings at this hour...
DeeDee Jonrowe was in 12th?

I sure do miss Susan Butcher, still

"I have been known to walk in front of my team for 55 miles, with snow shoes, to lead them through snow storms, in non-racing situations, where I could have just as easily radioed a plane to come and get me."

"I do not know the word 'quit.' Either I never did, or I have abolished it."

the rest of the pictures i ran the old snow trac hard she is due another oil change now after all that running but it worked out well and every one enjoyed the trip and being able to get away from the town no krustys here our conditions might kill them on the other hand seing as they like to ride on trailers one might out last the snow trac an at that rate you would only have to fill the tank once

Don
Great photos!!! I have to ask?? How many hours do you have on the ST????? I think you may be the most active ST user in the world!!! 80 hours in a week is more than most of us get spend in our machines in years!!! Could take over 100 years for those krustys to get 80 hours on!!! pretty amazing!!! (80 hours, not the krusty)

the trips to safety on the ground wer 27 miles 1 way i have a charter tour 17 miles up the coast next week for several hours the little st has one advantage over the compitition it's cheap to operate so i don't have to have 8 people packed into it oon the trips to safety i can make revinue with as little as 2 riders i allso found out that unless you have a bunch of little japanese that 6 americains is unreasonable but 4 is comfortable and still makes good revinue especialy if you do 2 trips per day everyone had a good time now i hope the evening trip this comming week will show us some wildlife like fox'es and wabbits the arctic hare gets as big as my trailer park trash lab

i have an alinco dr135 2 meter still working on an intercom system the problem with ham equipment is the lack of true noise canceling mic's out there so i find my self having to stop to get effective communications out of it as long as i'm on the snow seems to be legable but back ground is loud in the mic i also have a set of noise suppression plug wires to replace the copper wires i have now to help with reciever noise might look into a small hf rig to do some mountain top contesting to not certain yet space is of a primum inside no room for a boat anchor i also lust ordeed an icom 8000 might try it out see if it works better in that application and i aso have a diamond high gain antenna comming wich will also improve long distance preformance
