Default CB-Cityboy

Isn't his ban supposed to be lifted soon?
I miss him, and CG on the forums.
Just sayin'...

CG's been back for a while ,And , as always posted some very interesting articles and thoughts . Cb should be allowed back on FF as any further ban time is some what meaning less . He's either gotten the message that was implied ,or He hasn't . Either way , I doubt He cares . He's going to express his thoughts ,consequences be damned . Like it or not , You have to respect that .

While this post has only been on for a short while ,it's received over 30 hits . I find it hard to believe that there are only two thoughts on this .
I think that both CB ,and CG would think You cowardly to not express an opinion on this

I think CB should be welcomed back with open arms.
All he ever did was express himself in his own fashion, like a lot of folks have on the forums.
Over the top at times?
Sure.
That should become a thing of the past IMO, when it comes to banning any member.

I've got to disagree . Sometimes bans are required . I've gotten two myself ,
both were deserved . I crossed a line that was laid down by the forum owner .
The same may have been true of CB .

Fair enough , But how do You "see it " ? Should anyone be allow to express themselves any way they want on a private forum ,or should there be some rules of etiquette ?
Regardless , I think it's time to lift CB's ban . It's on Him as to how long He remains after that .

Name calling and personal attacks-NO
Free to express yourself on issues-YES

The former can cross a line, but the content of such should be examined closely.
Just because you call someone an asshole or a jerk, isn't really or logically the way you truly feel about that person.
You're attacking the post content, not the person.
However, I've/some in the past have.. well.. umm..

The whole thing boils down to whose forum it is ,and the guide lines therein ,

Nice conversation, but why should anyone's ban be lifted early? Because 360 days is close enough to a year?

I agree with Bonehead, a years ban is a years ban with no parole. I have no idea what CB did but I feel sure that it wasn't anything minor to draw a ban of that length of time.

I hope he comes back. I kinda enjoyed some of his posts.

Who said anything about a ban being lifted early?

I just remember Doc saying that it would end in March, that's all.

I took that to mean that it should be ended before the due date. I may have misinterpreted it. Anyhow, is it too early to welcome him back???

Sounded that way to me to Frank.

Tomorrow at 4pm CB will be welcomed back to FF with open arms. Other than that you all know we do not discuss moderation. That is not fair to the parites involved, and in general not good for the forums.

Why hasn't anyone asked about Vin? He is also a popular member who has been gone for over a month now. Not banned, but not posting. What's up with that?
