I had some nice trails/hills setup for the kids to ride down. Well, the hills were fine but they didn't like the standard sleds. So, I switched from sleds to tubes. BTW, WATCH OUT FOR THAT TREE AT THE END OF THE RIDE!!!

First couple are the setup (kids, hill and equipment.. Ie, helmets)

That damn tree at the end of the hill...

In all these pics, the kids are moving at full speed... and bouncing off the tree.

Time to take the end loader or snow plow & surround the tree with more snow...........I have a blimp sized pile at my shop you can have free if you need some. (Can't be too safe ya know.......)

BZ I am surprised !! I do not see a tow rope system for them to get back up the hill....

We are planning on trying one out this weekend.....

Cut that tree down asap :yum::yum::yum:Great Pictures bc...thanks for sharing.

Thanks Tom! Let me dump the snow off my trailer and come over and get a load.
I did change their trail coming down the hill so now they don't hit the tree. They now go on the other side of it, jump over the 4' bank then land on the side of the picnic table... The boards are smaller than the tree so it should hurt less. :thumb:

Rick - No return setup... yet. Where are you going that has one?

Now watch some liberal moron call Family Services on you for putting your kids in an unsafe condition because of the tree. They'll come take your kids to separate foster homes and lock you up for letting them have fun, and fine you 25 bazillion dollars and have your face on a poster which forbids you from getting closer than 500 feet to a school. All because you wanted your kids to have some fun.

I'll give them the number.

Here's some more fuel for their fire.

How about a tractor when they can't reach the pedals?

We are going right in my field. We are building our own rope tow. Testing happens tonight to see if it will work!

Pictures!!! We need pictures!!!

If it wasn't so deep, I'd strap the toboggan behind the RTV and hit the fields.

I learned to ski using a rope tow back in the early 60's. Getting up the hill was as much of a challenge as coming back down. You had to really watch the ruts after it was used for a while. If you fell the person behind you would run you down. Like dominoes.

Since they have several huge piles that have now settled a bit, time to dig some tunnels.

There's a drop-down hole next to where the dog is standing, a center room and 2 ground-level tubes.

They thought the lighting I put in for nighttime was pretty cool. (3rd pic)

Bump. Here it is, February again. I'm looking at grass. :( Kids have new tubes but no place to go.

Rick - Did you ever find or make a return system? I have some nice rolls of bungy cord that I considered but don't want to use on tubes as you wouldn't want to get tangled in the stuff.
