Here is a Snotrac that was for sale in Homer, Alaska. The track is rotten and has strips of belting added to the outer edges to keep it together, the right rear wheel is out of the guides, so don't know if it came out of the tracks or some other action. The interior looks a tad rough, as does parts of the exterior. The seller is asking $3,500.00 which to me is a bit high, but it has been sitting there for some time, don't even know if the engine is there/runs.
It has a small capstan winch on the front, don't know if it is electric or hydraulic, but it is different. The side windows have been replaced with snap-in plastic windows.
Overall, it is either a good project for someone or a parts source for someone else. Don't have any need for one now, but figured I would put the word out on it.
Let the proxy war begin!
Oh, the area code for the phone number is 907 for Alaska.... and remember that Alaska is a few hours behind the rest of America...
