1 can of refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent rolls)
1 jar of pasta sauce
Chopped onions, mushrooms,green pepper- (whatever you decide to use meat wise)
Provolone or mozzarella cheese
*Basil, oregano and parmesan to garnish tops-if you like.
-Spread out the pizza dough, or carefully spread and pinch together crescent rolls (they work best IMO, really flakey and delicious!)
Spoon and spread pasta sauce atop the rolled out dough covering a little over half the surface.
Add your fillings.
Fold carefully and seal edges.
*Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle tops with herbs and parmesean.
Bake 350 for 20-25 minutes.-
Usually makes 2 large or 4 smallish calzones.
You may need a fork if you use crescent rolls!
