Default Big Swed

Hello all
I was looking after some info about Aktiv ST4 snowcat when I find this forum.
I have a BV202 NF1 from norway.
Look at this web and you can see some fun vehicle that my brother and me have.
http://public.fotki.com/T24X4/
"Other Snowcats" is from other ppl in sweden. Look on his BV202 mini
That is build on a rear from BV202 with differential gear from a Studebaker
so he can use the brake to turn around. Rover V8 engine.

Here is some more link to BV202

This is only in swedish but you have some good photo to look on

Welcome to the Forums!

I was looking at your photos and came across one called the 'Snowcat Bandit' and I had never seen one like that before. Do you have any additional information about this snowcat?

That sure is a great home made snowcat!

Do you know if the rear is simply a trailer or are all 4 of the tracks powered like on the BV202 and BV206 units.

I think all 4 of the tracks powered like on the BV202 and BV206 units. Else that should not make sense for me. All he need to do is take waist from Bv202 and build the other.

The weather is not what it should be
We have only -5 celsius and no snow. Some forest companys want me to prepare some winter roads on some bog for them with my BV202. They start now and maybe at march they can use it if that have be cold enough. Now I going to fix all bearing on the gearbox. I dont think I get all my parts in time so I can help them with the winter roads.

I bye our BV202 after some year with diffrent snowmobile "Ockelbo 5000" to get my fire wood from the forest. Last year I use 3 diffrent snowmobiles and all of them get broken when I got there. The problem is that my forest is far away and I have 6.21 mile to nearest house. My cellphone dont work good in that place. After that I say NO MORE light snowmoblie.
