Default Glock FTF

Didn't happen to me, but with my gun, with my friend shooting it who was down visting out in the back.

G20, second round, stovepipe.

Gun ran fine another 200 rounds after that.

Guess my point is that no semi is without having a hiccup here or there, and you never hear of anyone having a FTF with a Glock (third time I've ever seen one with this manufacturer).

Not overally concearned.

Off the subject, I was amazed at how far a recurve bow will shoot an arrow in the air

It's all in how you hold the gun.
glock's hate "limp wristing"-which is a technique i was taught a long time ago to help absorb recoil out of larger handguns.
first time I ever shot a glock I had 3 FTF's in the first magazine. then I figured out what I was doing that it didn't like.

but you're right about no gun working right 100% of the time.

and yeah - a 50lb recurve can chuck an arrow a long ways.
I've seen people participate in "clout" shoots where the object is to fire the arrow over an obstruction and into a fair sized circle marked out on the ground - hitting some pretty amazing distances using recurves and longbows.

Default Re: Glock FTF

The "nastiest" firearm I own is a 1st gen Glock 19. I bought it used; very used. I don't know how many thousands of rounds I've put through it, but I've never cleaned it or lubed it. It has never had a FTF or FTE and still shoots surprisingly accurate. I'll never get into the tens of thousands of rounds like some have in their Glock torture tests, but it likely has had over 5k rounds through it with no cleaning.
