DMC 1200 For Sale

My company is going to sell our DMC 1200 Snowcat. It is s/nD2A-1887 and has 1599 hours on the engine. I'm attaching photos taken yesterday. The price is $27,000 with the trailer or $23,000 without the trailer. It was last used during the winter of 2005 to deliver LP fuel to remote generator sites in the California Sierras. The operator told me that the rubber sprokets would sometimes slip when backing up a steep hill but that it ran fine other than that. It will be sold "as-is." It is located at our Lakeside facility and is available for inspection by appointment. Please let me know if you are interested.

Thank you Bob - that's very helpful. I'm feeling very welcomed into the group and am wondering if maybe I should keep the Snowcat and become active? But snow in San Diego doesn't occur very often so I'm not sure how active I'd really become.

A lot of people in the desert keep sailboats and haul them to lakes/oceans for their vacations. No reason not to do the same with a snow cat. I'm in NM with a sailboat and a snowcat! Some on this forum with 1-season cats and even broken snowcats in circus tents are still active all year... :yum:
