OK the title is a bit inaccurate. The UN is not actually investigating. The UN is asking the Obama Administration to push the investigation :hammer:

WTF does the U.N. care about a LOCAL CRIME when there is still a 'crisis in Syria' and when people are being killed in Darfur, and when Women are repressed in all of the Arab world, and when there are still pirates operating off the coast of Somalia and . . . .

In an article published this week at UN News Centre, Mutuma Ruteere, a "special reporter on racism," wrote that a group of UN experts is calling on the Obama administration to finish a review that will decide whether or not George Zimmerman will face federal civil rights charges for the 2012 shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin:
"We call upon the US Government to examine its laws that could have discriminatory impact on African Americans, and to ensure that such laws are in full compliance with the country’s international legal obligations and relevant standards,” said human rights expert Verene Shepherd, who currently heads the UN Working Group of Experts of People of African Descent.

Nation members all over the world commit, or tacitly permit, race and religious atrocities.

AG Holder can do what he wants , including an investigation into G Zimmerman ve Trayvon Martin. But, as an executive of our sovereign nation,,,,he and his supervisor should tell the UN to go and pound sand.

What are the odds they will?

About the same as the survival chances of an ice cube in Hell. :hammer: We need to kick the UN out of NY and reclaim the
building we built and paid for.

If they do that it will set race relations back 50 years, might even lead to a race war.

We call upon the US Government to examine its laws that could have discriminatory impact on African Americans ...” said human rights expert Verene Shepherd, who currently heads the UN Working Group of Experts of People of African Descent.

Questions:

1) Anybody else wonder who Verene Shepherd is, and how she got to be a "human rights expert"? Here is a capsule of
what I found:

Professor Verene Shepherd, a fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Society, is University Director of the Institute for Gender & Development Studies and Professor of Social History at the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies. She has had a long association with the women’s movement and a track record of research on gender issues. She was the Faculty of Arts Representative on the Board for Gender & Development from 1996-1998 and Faculty Representative, Women and Development Studies Group from 1989-1991.

2) Based on her Curricula Vitae, she appears to have nothing but an academic background, with no experience in the
so called "real world". Why should anyone listen to her?

3) Who really gives a good damn what the
UN Working Group of Experts of People of African Descent thinks about our
internal, predominately state, laws?

4) Who wants to make a wager that "Fast & Furious" Holder will not jump on this as his excuse to vilify Zimmerman
again, no matter that an impartial jury found in accordance with the facts presented at trial?

5) Finally, does anyone know of any laws, state or federal, that "could have discriminatory impact" on blacks in this
country?

Well, now we hear that his wife has left him; can't take the hype. Does the poor man have anybody left?

Sad, what Sharpton and Obama's progressive media have done to him. So sad. And with no accountability for their lies.
