There's another Tucker roadster (trailster?) like that one in Alaska at the Alaska Transportation Museum in Wasilla.

This one was purportedly originally owned by a guy named Harry Truman (no, not the president) who was a cantankerous old guy who lived on Mount St. Helens. He was one of the people who died when St. Helens blew, because he refused to leave his lodge when the authorities told him he should.

Apparently he sold it to a guide in Alaska just before St. Helens blew and it had several owners before it was donated to the transportation museum.

I saw and took photos of the cat several years ago.

It appears to have the rag top frame like the one Al's found. I also noted that someone had modified the front end, adding some beams that come from the frame to the steering assembly (disabling it) and then grafting on a front axle from a car as well as tie rods to actuate the steering.

I'm not sure what the big hook things sticking out of the side of the hood are, but they look like they could be factory.

There was also a trailer like the one Al's found.

There was one of those here in Nenana in parts, when the guy that owned it died, it came up missing shortly thereafter....

I had talked with him about buying it earlier, but he said it wasn't for sale...

Well at least I now will have something to compare the selling price with to the Tucker that is located near me . Thanks
Sometimes we get wrapped up in attachment for something and end up not selling it because we want way more than it is actually worth . I have another call into the owner on what he expects to get for selling his Tucker .No use wasting the time of the forum ,if it is priced way to high . As much as I would like to see it in person I do not want to drive that far for the view . Hopefully I will have something on a idea of price yet today .

Ok , I have the pictures . The owner and I met this morning in Forbestown, Ca. and I took these pictures . The Tucker will need a complete rebuild it appears . Everything is there including extra skis for the trailer.
It appears it has a 6 cly engine. It was , according to the owner "Running when parked" . It will not turn over now . The windshield and metal hoops that support the canvas cover were made by the previous owner, that is not original .It also has a box heater that may be aftermarket and a ammo can that is used as a glove box ,mounted on the firewall . The unit was made in Grass Valley , Ca. before Tucker moved their operation to Oregon . The owner stated that he will not except less than $5000 for the Tucker & matching Tucker trailer . If your interested PM me and I will set up contact with the existing owner . Enjoy the pictures

PLEASE ! Do not argue with me or shoot the messenger . I only took the pictures and the owner set the price !

The trailer appears to have been owned ,at one time , by the Empire Gold Mining company . It is stenciled of the side in faded small letters . That mine was located and is now a State park in Grass Valley , Ca.

Al that is a unique classic. Somebody is going to pay big bucks to buy and restore it, even it it takes worldwide advertising to find that buyer.

Looks like the cross bars on that track assemble has been modified and are thicker or pipes. Is that the normal size or were they changed...
