Lots of people here probably know where my happy place is. They know it's anywhere I get to spend time with my little girl. So today she decided to paint us all pictures. Grandma, Papaw, and Buddy (the dog). I think she has one for the cat in the works too.

You'll never be as carefree again as you were at 5 years old.

You have an amazing happy place to be.
It sure is an amazing thing to raise a daughter.
Out in the garage, I have up in the rafters - in boxes-
every school paper/art progject brought home from my daughter from kindergarten to 2n.d grade. She is 17 now, and it is off limits till she is 18. LOL I haven't even looked since. It will be fun to go through it when she is 18.

Just catching up with this thread.
GREAT pics Jerry. Looks like she was having a ball. You are so right about once they pass five they are not nearly as carefree.
