Saw this huge device on a trailer parked in McDermitt, Nevada at the Oregon Nevada border. Looks to be new with lots of Appleton explosion proof electrical fittings. Oil and gas related?

Must be way over weight, width and height.

I don't know for sure, but I think your on the right track with your idea it is for oil and gas applications.
